GENERAL INFORMATION
We have all you need to make your group’s weekend experience unforgettable. Our professional team will take care of everything, from preparing meals to organizing team-building activities.
Availability: TRCA field centres offer weekend visits, on Friday evenings through Sunday afternoons, all year round.
Accommodations, Food and Equipment: The field centres provide accommodations, food and meal preparation, and basic equipment for all program activities. Participants will need to bring bedding, personal items and appropriate clothing.
What to Expect: TRCA staff are available to lead morning, afternoon and evening programs each full day at the field centre. Programs are professionally designed to maximize hands-on, outdoor learning, and provide a safe learning environment for visitors. Many of our programs can be adapted to meet specific badge requirements for Guiding and Scouting organizations, and to take into consideration the ages and abilities of guests.
Adult Leader Participation: Co-ed groups require supervision by both male and female adult leaders while in residence at the centres. Leaders are expected to accompany participants during the programs to assist in the supervision and organization of activities.
