Camping Reservation Policy

Reservations

  • A non-refundable reservation fee is required for all reservations and is charged at the time of reservation.
  • Reservations must be paid in full at time of booking, reservations can be paid by Visa or MasterCard for online reservations and phone reservations.
  • Reservations are accepted up to 11:59 p.m. the day before your arrival.
  • Reservations are accepted mid- March of each year.
  • Reservations must be made in the name of the site occupant. Multiple reservations in the same name for the same time period are not allowed.
  • A 3-night minimum stay applies at Albion Hills Campground for the following dates:
    • May 17 – 19, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • June 28 – 30, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • August 2 – 5, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • August 30 – September 1, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
  • TRCA Membership card holders are entitled to a 10% discount on short-term stays (up to 1 week) which will be applied at the park on arrival with proof of current membership.
  • The following information is required for the reservation holder

Changing and Cancelling Reservations

  • Reservations may be cancelled up to 11:59 p.m. two days prior to arrival without forfeiting Camping Fees; only the Reservation Fee and the Cancellation Fee will be charged.
  • If the reservation is cancelled after the aforementioned deadline up to and including the day of scheduled arrival, one night’s Camping Fee will be forfeited in addition to the Reservation Fee and Cancellation Fee.
  • If the reservation is cancelled after the aforementioned deadline on any day past the scheduled arrival date, then all prior nights’ Camping Fees will be forfeited, including the day of the cancellation in addition to the Reservation Fee and Cancellation Fee.
  • To cancel or change a reservation, login to your reservation account at trcacamping.ca, or call 1-855-811-0111.

Camping Rules

  • Full payment of the camping fees are required to process your reservation.
  • The campsite permit holder must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • In the case of multiple reservations for the same time period; each campsite must be registered under the name of the actual occupant.
  • No more than 6 people can occupy a campsite. The camping fees cover 2 adults and 4 children, additional charges will apply for additional adults to a maximum of 6 people.
  • Parking for one vehicle is included in your camping fees. An Additional Vehicle Permit must be purchased for additional vehicles at check-in to a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. Parking is permitted in designated areas only. Not all campgrounds offer additional parking.
  • Reservations can be made up to 11:59 p.m. on your day of arrival.
  • Where space permits, you are permitted one piece of sleeping equipment with wheels (camper or trailer) or two sleeping units (tents). No homemade sleep structures or tiny homes are permitted.
  • No-Show reservations will be held for the duration of the reservation period.
  • Camping permits may be shortened or cancelled after arriving at the Park up to 2:00 p.m. one day prior to the new departure date without forfeiting Camping Fees, only the prior nights’ Camping Fees and the Reservation Fee will be charged.
  • If the camping permit is shortened or cancelled after arriving at the Park after the aforementioned deadline up to and including the new departure date, then all prior nights’ Camping Fees will be forfeited, including the day of the cancellation in addition to the Reservation Fee.
  • Check-in time is after 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is before 12:01 p.m.

Group Camping Rules

  • Site maximums vary based on site size, more information can be obtained through the park directly. The base fee does not include campers; each camper will incur a nightly fee of $11.80/person + HST. Full payment of the camping fees are required to process your reservation.
  • The campsite permit holder must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • In the case of multiple reservations for the same time period; each campsite must be registered under the name of the actual occupant
  • Reservations of group sites can be made by calling the specific park directly. Albion Hills does offer online reservations for some group campsites.
  • Reservations are accepted up until 8:00 p.m. 2 days prior to arrival at Albion Hills Campground.
  • Check-in time is after 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is before 12:01 p.m.

Seasonal Camping Rules

  • Reservations for seasonal campsites can be made by calling the specific park directly. Albion Hills and Indian Line Campgrounds offer seasonal camping during their respective operational seasons.
  • An application process is required for all seasonal campgrounds. Please contact the park directly for more information.
  • All trailers are required to be 10 years or newer for all new seasonal campsites.
  • Please read the 2023 SEASONAL CAMPER LICENSE OF OCCUPATION FOR SEASONAL CAMPING.

Albion Hills Cabin Rental

Albion Hills Cabin Rental Reservation Policies:

  • A non-refundable Reservation Fee is required for all reservations and is charged at the time of the reservation.
  • Reservation must be paid in full at time of booking, reservation can be paid by Visa or MasterCard for phone reservations at the park.
  • TRCA Membership card holders are entitled to a 10% discount on short-term stays (up to 1 week) which will be applied at the park on arrival with proof of current membership.
  • Reservations may be cancelled or changed via the Park only. The applicable Cancellation Fee or Change Fee will apply.
  • Reservations must be made in the name of the site occupant. Multiple reservations in the same name for the same time period are not allowed.
  • A 3-night minimum stay applies for the following dates:
    • May 17 – 19, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • June 28 – 30, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • August 2 – 5, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
    • August 30 – September 1, 2024 (no check in or out on Saturday or Sunday)
  • A 2-night minimum stay applies for all weekends in July and August (no check in or out on Saturday).

  • Reservations may be shortened or cancelled after arriving at the park up to 3:00 pm one day prior to the new departure date without forfeiting Camping Fees, only the prior nights’ Camping Fees and the Reservation Fee will be charged.
  • If the reservation is shortened or cancelled after arriving at the park past the aforementioned deadline up to and including the new departure date, then all prior nights’ Camping Fees will be forfeited, including the day of the cancellation in addition to the Reservation Fee.
  • No-show reservations will be held for the client for the duration of the reservation period.
  • To cancel or change a reservation, please call the Park directly at 905-880-0227.
  • Check out time is 11:00 am. Renewal of permit is NOT guaranteed. Check in time is between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm only. Late arrivals are not available.
  • Parking for one vehicle is included in your campsite fee; all other vehicles must purchase an “Additional Vehicle Permit” at the park upon registration. Maximum of 2 vehicles permitted.

Additional Information for Cabin Rentals

The following equipment is provided for each Cabin:

  • Sleeping area for 2 people (mattress only)- sleeping loft with queen bed, day bed on main floor
  • Table and 2 chairs
  • An electric heater/AC unit
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Electrical outlet 15 amp with USB charging station
  • Please note: there is no plumbing or running water in the Cabin
  • Water tap is available onsite
  • Picnic table
  • Outdoor sink
  • Firepit with grill

What to Bring (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Bedding (sleeping bags/sheets, pillows etc.)
  • Cooking dishes, utensils, outdoor cooking equipment, cooler, dish soap, and basin
  • Camping chairs

Additional Items to Note:

  • Smoking is not permitted within the Cabin.
  • Fuel burning appliances or lanterns are not permitted within the Cabin.
  • Cooking equipment is not permitted to be used within the Cabin.
  • Pets are not allowed in the Cabin.
  • A pre-authorization amount of $200.00 damage deposit is required at check in. The credit card must be in the permit holder’s name.
  • No additional camping units are permitted on the Cabin sites.
  • Camping fees include parking for one vehicle; additional parking is not guaranteed.
  • The check-out time is 11:00 am. The check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Later check-ins are not permitted.
