East Humber River (EMS789) Bank Stabilization Project – Completed

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) completed a bank stabilization project to protect a pedestrian bridge and section of the Humber Trail.

Scope of Work

  • Start Date: June 2022
  • Completion Date: August 2022

Major maintenance was completed at the East Humber River (EMS789) Bank Stabilization Project in order to restore erosion control for bridge and trail protection. The project involved the following:

  • Construction of a vegetated stone revetment and post-and-paddle fence
  • Site restoration, including seeding disturbed areas as well as tree and shrub planting
